Because the Mission runs a recovery program that has a service requirement for every person enrolled, we do not rely on volunteers to donate time to critical areas of operation. We do, however, welcome and encourage involvement in areas that allow our clients to benefit from and to enjoy your company. Some of those areas would be serving meals, helping in Chapel, providing transportation to and from special events, passing out gifts at Christmas, helping in the art room or garden.
Those wishing to speak and minister in a designated slot in the Chapel must be endorsed by their home church and approved by the Mission Chaplain.
Volunteers need to complete a form with contact information and personal references. A code of conduct will be reviewed and signed. Those under 18 must volunteer with a guardian.
